Sam Taylor is the author of three books of poems that investigate ecology, mysticism, sexuality, and social justice: Body of the World (Ausable), Nude Descending an Empire (Pitt Poetry), and The Book of Fools (Negative Capability), a National Poetry Series finalist forthcoming from Negative Capability Press. His poems have appeared in The New Republic, AGNI, and Kenyon Review. A recipient of the Amy Lowell Poetry Traveling Scholarship and a former wilderness caretaker, he currently tends a wild garden in Kansas and directs the MFA Program at Wichita State University.
