Confused about Beauty in Blythe

Botanical sister, diaphanous trauma,

some dusks look

like inner thighs

when you’ve ridden so long… Girl moons

move while you watch them—alone

at the river, set

in a scent storm of jasmine,

a Budweiser can.

Missing my

indicator species”

his cattail hair, bad-water eyes.

Which, of many pinks was now becoming?
